Season 14 is making early Mythic choices matter more than ever. The right craft can smooth out weak spots in a build before you reach the hardest content, while the wrong one may sit in your stash for weeks. Before spending rare materials, compare your class plan with the current D4 items pool and ask what your build actually lacks. Damage, toughness, resource control, and reliable skill uptime all matter more than a flashy tooltip.

Build Around Your Minions or Spirit Skills

Necromancer players should look closely at The Undercrown if they are running a summoner setup. It is not just another life-and-armor helm. Extra Skeleton Warriors and Skeleton Mages change how your army handles crowded events, while the added Summon damage gives every fight more momentum. The target-command feature is useful against elites, too. You can send your Warriors toward the dangerous enemy instead of watching them scatter across the room. Spiritborn players have a different priority. Harmony of Ebewaka rewards careful Spirit Hall choices and makes mixed Spirit skills much more valuable. Jaguar, Eagle, Gorilla, and Centipede combinations can open up several paths, so this helm is a strong first craft for players who do not want to lock themselves into one narrow setup.

Crafting Priorities That Save Materials

There is no need to chase six Mythics at once. Pick the item that fixes the biggest problem in your current build, then move on when your gear feels stable.

Choose the Mythic that directly supports your main damage skill.
Check whether the item also improves survival, resource flow, or cooldown control.
Make sure its effect works with your actual rotation, not just your character sheet.
Save the next craft for a slot that your build cannot replace with a normal Unique.

Sorcerers using Pyromancy should consider Drognan's Anguish. The ring adds Pyromancy skill power, Intelligence, Life, and Vulnerable damage. Its Burning effect is especially rewarding for aggressive players who are willing to manage their health rather than play at a safe distance. Rogue players may get more from Etna's Lost Dagger, particularly with damage-over-time or Imbuement builds. It strengthens non-physical damage patterns, lets Basic Skills become Imbueable, and keeps elemental pressure active between major cooldowns.

Flexible Options for Tougher Content

Paladins can use Ward of the White Dove to turn Blessed Shield into a serious damage tool without giving up protection. Block Chance, Damage Reduction, and Thorns help the class stay in the middle of a fight, while repeated shield casts become more rewarding when Faith costs are managed well. Moloch's Beating Flame is less tied to one class. Builds that use Hellfire Skills, Volatility, or frequent critical hits can gain strong Critical Strike and Vulnerable damage, plus healing whenever skills are cast. That makes the amulet attractive for players who want burst damage but still need recovery during long encounters.

Spend Mythic Materials With a Plan

Your first craft should make the build feel better within minutes, not merely look impressive in a planner. Test the item in Helltides, Pit runs, and elite-heavy activities before changing several other slots. If the effect improves your rotation and keeps you alive, it is doing its job. When you need missing materials or want to compare affordable upgrade paths, checking D4 items cheap can help you prepare the next craft without wasting valuable resources.
